1. Kenya Railways invites sealed Tenders for Supply, Installation, Implementation,
Configuration, Testing and Commissioning of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) Software Modules (Flexible Real Estate Management, e-Recruit, Enterprise
Asset Management with Plant Maintenance, SAP Business Intelligence Suite (BI))
and Licenses & SAP Server Hardware and Provision of SAP Academy Training.
2. Tendering will be conducted under R e s t r i c t e d T e n d e r i n g Method
using a standardized tender document.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours from 0900 hrs. to 1600 hrs. at the
address given below.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the
website www.krc.co.ke, www.ppip.go.ke. Tenderers who download the
tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
procure@krc.co.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum. N/A
5. A Mandatory virtual Pre-Tender Conference will be held on

tenderers. Invitations to the pre- tender virtual /video conference meeting
shall be sent to the interested tenderers who submitted their particulars to

6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the Tender
documents submitted.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a B i d B o n d i n f o r m o f a Bank
Guarantee of Kenya Shillings Six Million Only (Kshs.6,000,000.00) from a

reputable Commercial Bank registered in Kenya valid for 210 days from the
date of tender opening.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 7
th
August, 2024 at 10:00am. Electronic Tenders shall not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
