MINISTRY OF HEALTH TENDER MARCH 2023 

STATE DEPARTMENT FOR PUBLIC HEALTH AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

1. The Ministry of Health- State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers for Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing, Training and Commissioning of Medical Oxygen Generating Plant at Transmara West Sub County Referral Hospital [hereinafter called the Works] and the remedying of any defects therein.
2. Tendering will be conducted under Open National Tendering method and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Eligible interested tenderers may obtain further information in respect to this tender from the Ministry website www.health.go.ke or public procurement information portal: www.tenders.go.ke. All eligible Tenderers are advised to regularly check the website during the bidding period.
4. A complete set of the Tender documents may be downloaded from the Ministry’s website www.health.go.ke or Public Procurement Information Portal: www.tenders.go.ke .free of charge. Eligible Tenderers downloading the Tender document MUST forward their company’s details to procurement@health.go.ke  so that any addendum/ clarifications can be sent to their email address.
5. Requests for clarification to be sent either by mail to Principal Secretary, Ministry of Health of P.0 Box 30016-00100 Nairobi or through email address procurement@health.go.ke . Prospective bidders may at any time, but not later than 5 days before the closing date for submission of tender document .request for clarifications.
6. The tender documents shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope which bear the submission address, Tender Number and Tender Name and shall be clearly marked “Do Not Open Before 15th March, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The Tenderer’s name and address should not appear on the outer envelope
7. If the envelopes and packages with the tenders are not sealed and marked as required, the Client will assume no responsibility for the misplacement, loss, or premature opening of the tender.
8. Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs 1,000,000/- (Kenya Shillings One Million Only] and MUST be from a reputable bank or from a Public Procurement and Regulatory Authority [PPRA] approved list of Insurance Companies and the security shall be valid for One Hundred and fifty [150] days from the tender opening date.
9. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted in the format 1,2,3…………
10. There will be a Pre-tender site meeting to be held on 7th March, 2023 at Transmara West Sub County Referral Hospital from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Kenyan Time.
11. Tenders must be delivered to the address below,

12. Electronic bidding will not be permitted and late tenders will be rejected.
13. The tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at GTZ Boardroom, Afya House Ground Floor.
