SUPPLIER PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE 2024-2026

The MPESA Foundation Academy is a state-of-the-art, co-educational, residential high school offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Curriculum. Driven by leadership, entrepreneurship, technology and innovation, the Academy serves talented but economically disadvantaged students from all 47 counties of Kenya with demonstrated leadership potential.

The MPESA Foundation Academy seeks to invite interested and eligible organisations to submit applications for the pre-qualification of suppliers for supply of goods and provision of services/works for the period of 2024/26 for the following categories:

SUPPLY OF GOODS
1 Supply of motor vehicle spare parts and other vehicle accessories (tyres, batteries)
2 Supply of oil and gas (petrol, diesel, oil lubricant^ and LPG)
3 Supply of textbooks and library books
4 Supply and delivery of branded exercise books
5 Supply of school uniforms, school bags and related items
6 Supply of student personal effects (undergarments e.g., panties, boxers, briefs, Bras; toothpastes, toothbrushes, braids, body lotions deodorants, soaps) and other related general supplies
7 Supply of staff uniforms

9 Supply of personal protective equipment-PPE (aprons, gloves, safety boots, nose mask and protective clothing)
10 Supply and installation of office blinds, rollers, curtains, curtail rails, sheers, carpets etc
11 Supply of soft furnishings (blankets, duvets, bed sheets, pillows, pillowcases, towels)
12 Supply of water bottles (glass and plastic), seals and caps
13 Supply and delivery of general hardware, carpentry, masonry materials and tools
14 Supply and delivery of plumbing materials

The supplier prequalification exercise will be conducted online via: Tendersure

Tendersure™ platform is secure, transparent and provides an efficient prequalification process. Interested suppliers may access and register on www.tendersure.africa under the “Available Jobs” tab or https://mpesafoundationacademy.ac.ke/tenders . Access to the prequalification will be granted upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of KES 2,000.00 per category. All payments will be made online via M-PESA, Visa Card and MasterCard amongst others. The online prequalification exercise closes on 6th October 2023 at 10pm EAT.

All participants who duly complete the prequalification process online will be notified of the outcome.

Prequalification is not a guarantee for business opportunity, bidders will be invited to submit their quotations on need basis based on the opportunities available. Mpesa Foundation Academy reserves the right to accept or reject any bid in whole or in part at its discretion.
