INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER DOCUMENT FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ASSORTED OFFICE FURNITURE

TENDER NO. NCPD/HQT/07/2023-2024

1. The National Council for Population and Development (The Council) invites sealed tenders for the
supply and delivery of Assorted Office Furniture at its headquarters located at the 4th Floor, the
Chancery, Valley Road NAIROBI and various regional offices as indicated herein.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized tender
document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenderers will be required to tender
for all items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours i.e. 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the websites (www.ncpd.go.ke and
www.ppip.go.ke ). Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge
5. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non-refundable fees of Kenya shillings 1,000 to Paybill Number: 222 222, Account
No: PZDZWZE. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the websites
(www.ncpd.go.ke and www.ppip.go.ke ). Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of
charge
6. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
(ncpdprocurement@ncpd.go.ke ) Telephone 0724256202 PO BOX 48994-00100 Nairobi to facilitate
any further clarification or addendum.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of kshs 100,000 and submitted in the
format provided herein (Tender Securing Declaration Form)
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 10th June, 2024 at 10.00
am. Electronic Tenders [will not] be permitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
