TENDER FOR DESIGN, PRINTING, SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 2024 WALL AND DESK CALENDARS TO STATE DEPARTMENT FOR TOURISM

STATE DEPARTMENT FOR TOURISM TENDER JANUARY 2024 

TENDER INVITATION NOTICE
Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, State Department for Tourism invites qualified tenderers to carry out
the following: –

The State Department for Tourism invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for Design, Printing, Supply
and Delivery of Calendars as specified.
1. Interested eligible bidders (proof of registration required) may download a complete set of tender document
from State Department for Tourism website: www.tourism.go.ke or Treasury portal
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke free of charge. Tenderers who download the document should register with
the Department through Email: Procurement @tourism.go.ke to access any clarifications or addendum
issued.
2. Tendering will be conducted under Open National Competitive Method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Completed tender documents should be submitted accompanied by a tender security issued by a reputable
Commercial Bank or an approved Insurance Company by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority in the
amount of Two Hundred Thousand Shillings only (KES 200,000). The tender security shall be valid for a
period of one hundred and forty (140) days from the tender opening date. Failure to provide bid security in
the right format, right source, correct value and validity period shall lead to disqualification of the bidder.
4. The Tenderer SHALL chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
5. Completed Tender Documents, both Original and a Copy in plain sealed envelopes, marked tender number
SDT/04/2023-2024 for Design, Printing, Supply and Delivery of Calendars and bearing no indication of the
tenderer should be addressed to: –

and be deposited in the Tender Box on 8th Floor at the Tourism Fund Building, Nairobi so as to be
received on or before 24th January, 2024 at 11.00 A.M. Submitted bids will be opened publicly in the 9th
floor Conference room, Tourism Fund Building, soon after the above stated closing date and time in
the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
7. Late tenders shall be rejected.
8. Prices quoted must be net inclusive of VAT and all Government Taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings, and
must remain valid for one hundred forty (140) days from the opening date of the tender.

9. The Government reserves the right to reject any tender and may annul the tendering process and reject
all tenders at any time prior to contract award without thereby incurring any liability to the affected
tenderer or tenderers.
