The Meru National Polytechnic invites tenders from qualified bidders to carry out the following projects.

Interested bidders may ‘Obtain tender documents from the procurement office, Meru National Polytechnic upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs 1,000 at the cash office during normal working days. Documents can also be downloaded from the government tenders portal http//:tenders.go.ke or from the Polytechnic s website www.mnp.ac.ke Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below, supported by the relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation:
- MNP/CONST/003/2021-2022: Must provide a bid bond of Kenya shillings two hundred thousand (Kes. 200,000.00) which must remain valid for 30 days (after the expiry of the tender validity period) in the form of bank guarantee from a reputable bank or any other form as provided for on the public procurement regulatory authority tender security providers https;//ppra.go.ke/tender-security-providers/
- Provide a valid tax compliance certificate.
- Provide KRA PIN and VAT certificates.
- Prove Registration as a company.
- Single Business Permit
- Dully filled business questionnaire.
- Must be registered by National Construction Authority (NCA) for category NCA 7 and above.
- Evidence of adequate equipment and key personnel for the specified type of work.
- Must attach audited Accounts for the last two years.
Complete documents in a plain, sealed envelope marked tender number and description should be addressed to:

And deposited in the TENDER BOX at the polytechnic reception so as to be Received on or before 7th April, 2022. The documents will be opened on the same day at 10:00am in the main reception (Meru National Polytechnic) and bidders or their representatives are welcome to witness the opening.
