INVITATION TO TENDER
PROCUREMENT OF FUEL UNDER FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT

2. The County Government of Vihiga, Department of Finance and Economic Planning, invites sealed tenders
for the supply of fuel under framework agreement, for a period of three years.
3. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
4. “Tendering is open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with EPRA.
5. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0900- 1500 hours at the address given below.
6. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of NIL in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address
given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Websites;
www.vihiga.go.ke https://supplier.treasury.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke . Tender documents obtained
electronically will be free of charge.
7. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.vihiga.go.ke ,
https://supplier.treasury.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke . Tenderers who download the tender document
must forward their particulars immediately to directorscms@vihiga.go.ke or send via courier to office
of the director supply chain management services, P.O BOX 344-50300 Maragoli to facilitate any further
clarification or addendum.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” or “Tender-Securing Declaration,” Not
applicable
9. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
10. Completed tenders must be uploaded in the IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL using the negotiation number
provided on or before 11:00 am on Tuesday 4th October 2022. Only electronic tenders are permitted.
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead
line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
12. Late tenders will be rejected.
