Interested Contractors, who are registered in relevant trades and categories, (proof of registration required) may obtain Tender Documents from the School Accounts Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1000.00 deposited in the School Bank Account Number 01 129123540100 Co-operative Bank, Moi Avenue Branch, Nairobi.

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below as a minimum, supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.

  1. Duly filled form of tender (filled, signed and stamped).
  2. Certificate of Company Incorporation/Firm Registration.
  3. Bid Security, (Amount Indicated Above) which must be from an Insurance Company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority in required format, amount and tender validity.
  4. Power of attorney (offender Signatory if not a Director).
  5. Valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
  6. Valid Business Permit/Trade Licenser.
  7. Current Category of Registration with NCA (building works and specialist works).
  8. A valid NCA annual practicing license (building works and specialist works).
  9. Signed statement of verification that one has not been debarred from procurement proceedings.
  10. Proof of payment for tender document (payment receipt-for those obtaining the tender document hard copy from the school procurement office).
  11. Duly filled Confidential Business Questionnaire and CRI2.
  12. Bid submitted in the required format by the procuring entity.
  13. A signed agreement between the bidder and their domestic Subcontractor (Electrical Works) they propose to engage and who must meet the qualifications stated in the specialist works documents.
  14. Declaration that the firm has not been convicted of corrupt or fraudulent practices and will not engage in corrupt or fraudulent practices.

Further, tenders from the following tenders shall be treated as non-responsive and therefore subject to automatic disqualification:

A tender from a tenderer whose on-going project(s) is/are behind schedule and without approved extension of time.

A tender from tenderers with ongoing projects(s) exceeding four (4) In number, regardless of the total value of the outstanding works.

A tender from a tenderer who has been served with a default notice on on-going projects(s) or a tenderer who has been terminated In a Government Contract  In the past Tenders in plain sealed envelopes, valid tender number on the right hand side corner and bearing no Indication of the tenderer should be addressed to:
