INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES
1. KIBABII UNIVERSITY invites sealed tenders for the provision of CLEANING SERVICES FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS
2. Tendering will be conducted under OPEN NATIONAL COMPETITIVE TENDER
METHOD using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and
interested Youth, Women, and People with Disability Registered by National Treasury.
“Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more lots”.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 9.00AM to 4.00PM daily Monday to Friday at the Procurement
Office, Kibabii University, Bungoma. More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 –
Services’ Requirements, Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
4. A complete set of tender documents is downloadable for free from government portal
www.tenders.go.ke and KIBABII UNIVERSITY website www.kibu.ac.ke . Tenderers who
download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
procurement@kibu.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a fully filled, signed and stamped TENDER
SECURING DECLARATION FORM available under Section V-Tendering Forms in this
document.
6. All Tenders shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted
7. Completed Tenders Documents consisting of one original HARD COPY and a duplicate of
the same must be delivered in the Tender Box on the Ground Floor, at Administration Block,
Kibabii University, BUNGOMA on or before 3rd February 2025 at 10.00AM. Bulk
documents shall be registered and deposited at the Vice Chancellor Office in the 1st Floor
Administration Block. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at Senate Boardroom, Kibabii
University
9. Late tenders will be rejected.

Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the
tender number and name and be deposited in the Tender Box at Kibabii University or be
addressed to: –

And dropped in Tender Box situated outside Administration Building Main entrance, Main
Campus in Bungoma so as to reach the University On or before Monday 3rd February,

Tenders that do not fit in the tender box will be registered and deposited at the Vice
Chancellor’s Office at the Kibabii University, Main Campus.
