FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF COUNTY AGGREGATION AND

1.1. The County government of Embu invites sealed Request for Proposals (RFPs) from eligible
consultants qualified in land use and physical planning for TENDER FOR PROVISION OF
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF COUNTY
AGGREGATION AND INDUSTRIAL PARK (CAIP) FOR EMBU COUNTY
1.2.Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive (NCB) Bidding procedures specified
in the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and the Public Procurement and Disposal
Regulations, 2020 and is open to all National Tenderers as definedin the Regulations.
1.3.Interested eligible candidates may obtain Further information as pertains to this tender may be
obtained during working hours (Monday to Friday) between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm using the

1.4.Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from www.embu.go.ke or
www.tenders.go.ke.
1.5.The eligible tenderers are required to STRICTLY respond through e-procurement suppliers portal :
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke and submit a copies of the original duly filled tender document (same as the
one submitted online).
1.6.Bidders are advised to regularly visit the County Government of Embu website to obtain any
additional information/addendum on the tender. All addenda/additional information on the tender
shall be posted on the County website as they become available.
1.7.Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery costs, must be in Kenya Shillings andshall
remain valid for (120) days from the closing date of the tender.
1.8.Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the tender
number and name and addressed as follows

Completed tenders shall be placed in Tender Box located at the Embu County Treasury. The tenders
must be received or returned to the Procurement office, to reach not later than 11.00AM 23rd Jan, 2025.
1.9. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders/representatives who
choose to attend the opening process.
1.10. The technical proposals will be opened on 23rd Jan, 2025 at 11.00 am and only the financial
proposals for the responsive bidders will thereafter be opened after technical proposal evaluation
and for those bidders who will not be responsive, their financial proposal will be returned
unopened.
1.11. Canvassing or lobbying for the tender shall lead to automatic disqualification.
