KENYA SEED COMPANY LIMITED TENDER OCTOBER 2023 

INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE COVER 
TENDER REF. KSC/NOT/GLC/2/2023/24.
1. Kenya Seed Company Limited invites sealed tenders for the provision of Group Life
Assurance Cover as per schedule of requirements indicated in Section V and
Description of services as indicated in section B of the price schedule of the tender
document for the period of two (2) years from the commencement date.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) and is open to
all qualified and interested Tenderers. Margin of preference not applicable, reservations
not allowed and alternative tenders will not be allowed.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours at Procurement Department, Kenya Seed
Company Limited, Mbegu Plaza, Ground Floor, Kijana Wamalwa Road, Kitale
during normal working hours.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates/
tenderers upon payment of non-refundable fees of Ksh 1,000.00 in cash or Banker’s
cheque payable to Kenya Seed Company Limited or be accessed from Public
Procurement Information Portal (PPIP)or www.kenyaseed.com free of charge.
Interested bidders who opt to download the Tender Document shall be required to
register/submit their contact details to procurement@kenyaseed.co.ke for recording
and any further clarification or addenda
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the sum of Kes 200,000.00
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 3rd November
2023 at 11.00. Kenya Seed Company Limited P.O, Box 553 Mbegu Plaza, Kijana
Wamalwa Street, Next to NCPB Kitale Tel. 054 31909-14, 0722 205 144 (Electronic
Tenderswill not be permitted).
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or
any dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the
Candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at Conference Room, Kenya
Seed Company Limited headquarters, Mbegu Plaza. Late tenders will be not be
accepted.
