INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF LIVESTOCK INSURANCE, PROPERTIES INSURANCE AND MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE
TENDER NO: CGK/SCM/SCH/05/2024-2025
1. The KIANYAGA BOYS HIGH SCHOOL invites sealed tenders for TENDER FOR PROVISION OF LIVESTOCK INSURANCE, PROPERTIES
INSURANCE AND MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested
Tenderers. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours 0800 to 1700 hours at the address given
below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website
www.kianyagaboys.go.ke and also at the PPIP portal www.tenders.go.ke.
4. A complete set of tender documents shall be downloaded FREE OF CHARGE from the web
addresses as indicated in 3 above.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
(www.kianyagaboys.go.ke and also at the PPIP portal www.tenders.go.ke.
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to kianyagaboys@gmail.com to facilitates any further clarification or
addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security o f Kshs 500,000.00 (Five
Hundred thousand Kenya Shillings) for Under Writers and Ksh 400,000.00 (four
Hundred Thousand Shillings) for Brokers in any of the following forms: a bank
guarantee; a guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the
Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Authority
7. Bid prices quoted should be inclusive of all costs and taxes and shall remain valid for
(180) One Hundred and Eighty Days from The Date of Tender Opening.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
- Completed tenders must be submitted MANUALLY by submitting an ORIGINAL
and a COPY to the Kianyaga High School to be received on or before Monday, 10th
February 2025. at the system indicated time. - Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose
to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
