INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR MEMBERS OF STAFF TENDER OCTOBER 2022
TENDER NO: CAN/T/06/2022/2023.
1. The County Assembly of Nakuru invites sealed tenders for the provision of
Insurance Services for Provision of Medical Cover for members of staff.
2. Tendering will be conducted under Open National Tendering Method using a
standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested
Insurance Firms and Brokers Registered under IRA (For the Class of Business).
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect
the Tender Documents during office hours 0900 to 1500 hours] at the address
given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from
the assembly of Nakuru; www.assembly.nakuru.go.ke, IFMIS supplier’s portal;
supplier.treasury.go.ke and Public Procurement Information Portal.;

4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.assembly.nakuru.go.ke, from the supplier portal: supplier.treasury.go.ke and
Public Procurement Information Portal.; https://www.tenders.go.ke
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security in form of Bank
Guarantee of Kenya Shillings Two Hundred Fifty Thousand (Kshs. 200,000).
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 2ND
NOVEMBER 2022 at 11.00 am Local Time. Completed tenders shall be
submitted back in both soft and hardcopies. Soft copies through from the IFMIS
supplier portal: supplier.treasury.go.ke while hard copies in plain sealed envelope
indicating tender number and description as described in the Tender Document
should be deposited in the Tender box located at County Assembly reception
or send by post to address below.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
