INVITATION TO TENDER

TENDER FOR PROVISION OF PRINTING SERVICES FOR THE CENTRAL BANK OF KENYA (FRAMEWORK CONTRACTING AND MULTIPLE
AWARDS) FOR A PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS.

TENDER NO. CBK/107/2023-2024 
1. The Central Bank of Kenya invites sealed tenders under framework contracting for provision of Printing services
on “as and when required basis” for a period of two (2) years.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenders will be awarded on basis of Framework
Agreement.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
normal office hours Monday to Friday i.e. 0900 to 1700 hours at the address: The Director, General Services
Department, Tel: +254 20 2861000/2860000, 5th Floor, Central Bank of Kenya, Haile Selassie Avenue, Nairobi,
Email: supplies@centralbank.go.ke during normal working hours.
4. A completed set of tender documents containing detailed information may be downloaded from the PPIP website:
www.tenders.go.ke OR Central Bank of Kenya website: www.centralbank.go.ke at no cost. Bidders who download
the tender document are advised to forward their particulars immediately using the Email:
supplies@centralbank.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by an original Tender Security of Kshs.50,000.00 valid for 240 days from the
date of tender opening.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders, in plain sealed envelopes marked with tender name & reference number, must be delivered
to the address below on or before 3 rd April, 2024 at 10.30 a.m. (East African Time) and be deposited in the
Green Tender box No.3 located at the Main entrance to Central Bank of Kenya. Electronic Tenders will not be
permitted.
8. Tenders that do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at the General Service Department 5th Floor Central
Bank of Kenya using the register located at the office at the address located in clause 10 above.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline dateand
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
