The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) invites sealed tenders from eligible firms for the following tenders:

Tender documents detailing the requirements may be obtained from the Procurement office, KEBS centre, Popo road, off Mombasa Road, Nairobi, on normal working days between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. or be downloaded from KEBS website: www.kebs.org, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kes.1000. All payments shall be made to the Kenya Bureau of Standards, Nairobi.
Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked ‘TENDER NUMBER AND TITLE OF THE TENDER’ indicated on the envelope should be addressed and delivered to:

Or be deposited in the Tender Box located at KEBS centre main reception marked “TENDER BOX” so as to be received as indicated above.
Tender opening will be carried out immediately thereafter at the KEBS centre conference room A, Adm. Block, Ground Floor.
Tenders must be accompanied by Bid Security of 2% of Total Tender Sum in the form specified in the tender document and shall be valid for one hundred and fifty (150) days from tender opening dated. Except tender number KEBS/T006/2019/2020.
There shall be a mandatory site visit for tender Nos. KEBS/T008/2019/2020, KEBS/T014/2019/2020 and KEBS/T006/2019/2020. For more details refer to the tender document on www.kebs.org.
