INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR VARIOUS TOWNS IN MARSABIT COUNTY

1. The County Government of Marsabit invites sealed tenders for the provision of services, i.e.
PROVISION OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT – VARIOUS LOT (Bidder to bid for only one town.].
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. (COUNTY SPECIFIC TENDER).
This tender is subject to Multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will not be allowed to tender for more
than one or more lots”. Please tender for one lot only.
This is a County Specific Tender. “Tendering to open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately
with Marsabit County”).
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours [from.0900hrsto 1700 hours] at the address given below. More details on the Services are provided
in PART 2 – Services’ Requirements, Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of an
on- refundable fees of Kshs 1000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below.Tender
documents may be obtained electronically from the Website www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained
electronically will be free of charge. Tenderers downloading documents from a designated Website shall advise
the Procurement Entity that they have downloaded the tender documents, giving full contact addresses of the
tenderer to supplychain@marsabit.go.ke and copy fkamendi@gmail.com, P.O BOX 384 –
60500,MARSABIT.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.marsabit.go.ke. Tenderers
who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to fkamendi@gmail.com to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tender must be accompanied by a Tender Security of – Kshs 50,000 –
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 16th September 2022 at 10.00 am.
Electronic Tenders not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
