PUBLIC TENDER FOR SUPER SALES AGENTS IN KENYA TO PARTICIPATE IN A RESULTS BASED REIMBURSEMENT FACILITY FOR MEDIUM SCALE BIODIGESTER MARKET SEGMENT OPPORTUNITY
The African Biodigester Component [ABC] in Kenya, an EnDev Associated Project, aims to support the growth and sustainability of a commercial biodigester sector in Kenya hence enhancing market development and access of good quality medium scale commercial biodigesters [50m3 to 500m3] for domestic and productive use. A Result-Based Reimbursement [RBR] facility will be the core instrument of the project for the Super sales Agents’, one of the concepts in implementation of medium scale biodigesters. ABC is therefore inviting Companies and Individuals through this Public Tender in Kenya to participate in the RBR facility.
TARGET COMPANIES
This opportunity targets Kenyan registered biodigester companies, and individuals operating in a market based approach. All biodigesters models are eligible with a capacity between 50m3 to 500m3. The below 2 categories of applicant will apply:
- Biodigester construction/installation companies
- Individuals constructing/installing biodigesters
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Bidders must have existing capacity [knowledge, structures and staff] to deliver the number of biodigesters they bid for. Bidders must have the capacity to properly contact/prospect generate leads and referrals [GIZ will provide a tool to support biodigester design and business plan creation as well as a study on potential for medium scale biodigesters/biogas plants],
- Biodigester construction/installation companies
- CR12 certificate
- Company Registration
- Valid Tax compliance certificate
- List of at least 10 medium-scale biodigester (50 to 500m3] constructed / installed in Kenya in the last 3 years [2022 to 2024].
- Independent Individuals
- Kenya Revenue Authority PIN Certificate
- Valid Tax compliance certificate
- List of at least 5 medium-scale biodigester [50 to 500m3] constructed / installed in Kenya in the last 3 years (2022 to 2024].
APPLICATION:
To participate, interested bidders are required to send a blank email with tender reference: 83477332 in the subject line to: KE_lnquiry@giz.de from 14th November 2024 Until 18th November 2024 @1600hrs. An email response will provide the relevant tender documents with further information on thereafter no documents will be shared.
Interested bidders shall submit their filled-in scanned copies of application and requested documents in pdf format with tender number clearly indicated on the email subject to:- KE_lnquiry@giz.de
GIZ shall evaluate the submitted documents and carry out eligibility and technical assessment and thereafter the applicants will be informed on their selection or non-selection.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 29th November 2024
Failure to submit a filled in application template and mandatory documents correctly will lead to automatic disqualification.
