INVITATION TO TENDER
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF APPAREL FACTORY EQUIPMENT
TENDER NO: GMC/MOH/OT/002/2024-2025
1. The COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF MACHAKOS invites sealed tenders SUPPLY AND
DELIVERY OF APPAREL FACTORY EQUIPMENT.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
In case tender is subject to multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for
one only”.
In case this tender is subject to a Reservation, specify the Group is eligible to tender, Insert e.g.,” Tendering
to open to all Small and Medium Enterprisesregistered appropriately with……OPEN ”).
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
at the Department of Health headquarters during office hours between 8.00a.m to 1.00pm and 2.00pm
to 4.00p.m.
4. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Machakos County Government website
www.machakos.go.ke or the Government PPIP Portal: www.tenders.go.ke. Interested and eligible
firms may obtain additional information from the office of the Head of Procurement, Health Services

5. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. Tenderers downloading documents
from a designated website shall advise Machakos County Government that they have downloaded the
tender documents, giving full contact addresses of the tenderer (email, telephone number and postal
address).
6. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
119 days from the date of opening.
7. Tender must be accompanied by a tender Security of KSH. 100,000/= (ONE HUNDRED
THOUSAND). Inform of a bank guarantee or issued by an insurance company registered and licensed
by the Insurance Regulatory Authority or listed by the Authority or issued by a financial institution
approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya.
