INVITATION TO TENDER 
TENDER NO. SDC/11/2022/2024 
TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF BEDDINGS 

The Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, State Department for Correctional
Services invites sealed tenders for Supply and Delivery of Beddings.
1.1 Tendering will be conducted under Open National Tender competitive method using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
1.2 Tendering is open to all Small and Medium Enterprises duly registered with the Kenya Government.
1.3 Tenderers will be allowed to tender for all the items.
1.4 Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents at the Supply Chain Office at the 13th floor , Teleposta Towers during office working
hours Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m and 2.00 p.m to 5.00p.m.
1.5 A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenderers
upon payment of a non- refundable fees of Kenya Shillings One Thousand Only (Ksh.1,000) in
cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to THE PRINCIPAL SECRETARY. Payments should be
made to the cash office, 3rd floor Telposta towers.
1.6 Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the Website
www.correctional.go.ke/www.mygov.go.ke.
1.7 All Tenders shall be accompanied by a Tender-Securing Declaration form in the format provided.
1.8 The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
1.9 Completed tender documents should be enclosed in plain sealed envelope, marked with tender
reference number and addressed to;

So as to be received on or before Wednesday 15th December, 2022 at 10.00am
1 .10 Prices quoted should be net, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for 150 days from the
closing date of the tender.
1.10 Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any dead line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ or their designated representatives who choose to attend at the
Telposta Towers, 13th
floor, Conference room. Bidders should note that the opening exercise
will be conducted in strict adherence to the Ministry of Health guidelines on Covid-19

protocols.
1.11Late tenders will be rejected
