TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF DESKTOP COMPUTERS FOR PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS – MINISTRY OF EDUCATION

NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB)

1. The Government of Kenya has established a budget line for the procurement of Desktop Computers for the Public
Secondary Schools ICT Integration Programme. In this regard, the Ministry of Education wishes to invite bids for the
Supply and Delivery of Desktop Computers for Public Secondary Schools.
2. Tendering will be conducted under Open Competitive Method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested bidders in the following Categories

3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Document during office
hours 0800 to 1700 hours at the address given below.
4. A completed tender document can be obtained electronically from the Ministry of Education Website (www.education
.go.ke & PPIP www.tender.go.ke) Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. Tenderers who
download the tender document should forward their particulars immediately to ppo@education.go.ke to facilitate
any further clarification or addendum
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by
Lot 1 – Tendering Security Ksh. 3,000,000
Lot 2 – Tendering Security Ksh.1,500,000
Lot 3 – Dully filled Tender Securing Declaration Form
The Tender Security for Lot 1 and 2 shall be in the form of a Guarantee by Insurance Company registered and Licensed
by the Insurance Regulatory Authority or a Guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the
Central Bank of Kenya.
6. Completed Tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 19th October, 2023 at 11:00 am. Electronic
tenders will not be permitted and Late Tenders will be rejected.
7. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time
specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderer’s designated representatives who
choose to attend 2nd floor, small boardroom, Jogoo House ‘B’, Harambee Avenue.
