INVITATION TO TENDER
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF EMERGENCY RELIEF FOOD (MAIZE AND BEANS)

3. The COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF WEST POKOT invites sealed tenders for the supply of goods
i.e. SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF EMERGENCY RELIEF FOOD (MAIZE AND BEANS) to be
delivered the COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF WEST POKOT.
4. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
5. Tendering is open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately

7. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 09:00am – 4:00pm at the address given below.
1. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of (Amount in Kenya shillings) (N/A) in cash or Banker’s
Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically
from the Website www.westpokot.go.ke and Public Procurement Information portal
www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
8. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.westpokot.go.ke
and Public Procurement Information portal www.tenders.go.ke.. Tenderers who download the tender
document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@westpokot.go.ke to facilitate
any further clarification or addendum.
9. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of KES 600,000.00 (KES shillings Six
Hundred Thousand Only)
10. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

TH JANUARY 2024 .
Electronic Tenders will or be permitted through the IFMIS SYSTEM IS A MUST and it should be
EXACT REPLICA OF THE ORIGINAL HARD COPY SUBMITTED.
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead
line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
