TITLE: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY Of GNSS SURVEY EQUIPMENTS AND TRAINING OF SELECTED STAFF ON THE USE OF GNSS SURVEY EQUIPMENT’S
- The Government of Kenya [hereinafter called “Borrower”] has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Second Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP2) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract for the following:

- The State Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Second Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP2) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Delivery of GNSS Survey Equipment’s and Training of Selected Staff on the use of GNSS Survey Equipment’s to the Project.
- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids [RFB] as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020 [“Procurement Regulations”], and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information, from the KISIP Project Procurement Office, Elgon Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi during normal office working hours [0900 to 1700 hours EAT]. Those who download the document should immediately send their particulars to the Head of Supply Chain Management office at Ardhi House 6th Floor for the purpose of registration and receipt of any further clarifications.
- The bidding document can be downloaded free of charge from www.housingandurban.go.ke/tenders and www.tenders.go.ke/openTenders or can be obtained at the address given below.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Thursday 30th March 2023 at 1100hrs East African Time, EAT. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend in Ardhi House [1st Ngong Avenue], 6th Floor Boardroom.
- All bids should be accompanied with a Bid security in form of a Bank Guarantee or a Bank Draft issued by a reputable Bank located in Kenya, or Insurance of 2% [Bid Sum] from a reputable Insurance firm approved by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority [PPRA].
