INVITATION TO TENDER 
TENDER NO. CGL/ONT/TRADE/052/2023/2024
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF JUAKALI TOOLS AND EQUIPMENTS
1. The County Government of Lamu (CGL) invites eligible and qualified tenderers to submit sealed tenders
for the supply of the following goods and related services: Supply and Delivery of Juakali Tools and
Equipments
2. Tendering will be conducted under national open tender using the standardized tender document.
3. Tenderers will be allowed to tenderfor all items; evaluation and award will be based on all items.
4. Eligible and qualified tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office
hours 0900 to 1700 hours East African Time at the address given below.
5. Acomplete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a nonrefundable fees of KES1,000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender
documents may also be viewed and downloaded for free from the website websites www.lamu.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.ke.
6. Tenderers who download the tender document mustforward their particularsimmediately to
procurement@lamu.go.ke tofacilitate any further clarification or addendumand communication.
7. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 120
days from the date of opening of tenders.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of KES 100,000 valid for 150 days.
9. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted.
10. Completed tenders must be submitted on the IFMIS SYSTEM on or before 2
nd May 2024, at 11:00am. MANUAL
SUBMISSION of Tenders WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence oftheTenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend atthe address below.
12. Late tenderswill be rejected. The IFMIS System will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender closing.

the Tender Box Located at Lamu County Headquaters, Mokowe, Lamu on or before the closing date and Bidders
MUST attach Scanned copies of the Tender security and Form of Tender together with the other documents in IFMIS
as stated in each bid document.
