INVITATION TO TENDER
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PIPES AND FITTINGS KARAMBAINI WATER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK IN LIMURU – EAST WARD GATONO IN
KIAMBAA SUB-COUNTY.

The County Government of Kiambu Invites interested bidders for the Supply and Delivery of pipes
and fittings for Karambaini water distribution network in Limuru – East ward Gatono in Kiambaa
Sub-County.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all eligible tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours [ 0800 to 1700 hours] at the address given below.
3. A complete set of Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website
www.tenders.go.ke Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents, addenda and tender advertisement may be viewed and downloaded for free from the
website www.tenders.go.ke
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
(91) days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Kenya Shillings One Hundred and Thirty
Thousand Only (KES.130,000.00) from a financial institution or a tender security provider as listed on
the PPRA website.
7. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted indicating the
total page numbers at the back page of the tender document.
8. Completed tenders must be submitted electronically through the link
https://www.supplier.treasury.go.kewhile the original Tender Security shall be dropped in a sealed
envelope at the below provided address before the submission deadline on Monday 29
th
, April, 2024 at
1000hrs.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadlinedate and time specified later.
10. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
chooseto attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
