INVITATION TO TENDER

CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SCHOOL
FURNITURES FOR MWARIKI ECE CENTRE ADMINISTRATION BLOCK , CLASSROOM
AND OFFICE CHAIRS IN NAKURU COUNTY
The County Government of Nakuru invites sealed tenders for the for supply and delivery of school
furnitures for mwariki ece centre administration block , classroom and office chairs in nakuru
county
2. Tendering will be conducted under open National competitive method using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
4. Where the bidders interested in the bid documents cited in clause 3 above have issues of downloading
the documents from the mentioned links, the documents can be obtained electronically free of charge
from the Directorate Of Supply Chain during working hours (8.00A.M to 1.00P.M and from 2.00P.M
to 4.30P.M)
5. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
6. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of Kshs 1000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the
address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website
www.nakuru.go.ke, www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
7. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.nakuru.go.ke,
www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to supplychain@nakuru.go.ke, 0740821542 and P. O Box 2870, Nakuru to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of 2% of tender sum with a validity period of
210 days from the date of tender opening from a recognized financial institution in Kenya or
insurance company approved by PPRA
9. The Tenderer shall chronologically and sequentially serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted from the cover page to the last page including attachments in the numerical format.
10. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday 18th May, 2022
10.30 a.m. Electronic Tenders via IFMIS portal will be permitted together with the hard copy
mentioned earlier.
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
12. Late tenders will be rejected.
