INVITATION TO TENDER
State Department for Interior and Citizen Services (National Police Service) invites
sealed tenders for the
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF UNIFORM MATERIAL TO KENYA
POLICE SERVICE (KPS), ADMINISTRATION POLICE SERVICE (APS) AND
GENERAL SERVICE UNIT (GSU) on a framework Agreement basis for a period of 2 years.
TENDER NO: MICNG/SDI/KPS/016/2022-2024
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (Framework) using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to Local Textile Manufacturers only.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office normal working hours from 8.00am – 12.30pm and 2.30pm – 4.50
pm at 4
th floor Room 421, Head Supply Chain Management Services Offices, Vigilance House,
Harambee Avenue Nairobi.
3. A complete set of tender documents may be downloaded by interested candidates free of charge at
www.tenders.go.ke and www.interior.go.ke
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender-Securing Declaration form.
5. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
6. Prices quoted MUST be NET, inclusive of all Government taxes, delivery cost and shall remain
valid for 210 days from the tender closing date and time.
7. The Uniform Materials shall be delivered to respective Services i.e Kenya Police Service – Central stores
situated on Machakos Road Industrial Area Police Deport, Administration Police Service – National
Police College– “A” Campus Embakasi (APTC) and General Service Unit Headquarters– Ruaraka
8. Completed tender documents, enclosed in plain sealed envelope, marked with the tender
number andname shall be addressed to: –

and be deposited in the tender box situated at vigilance House, Ground Floor, Harambee
Avenue, Nairobi, so as to be received on or before Thursday 22nd September, 2022 at 10.00
AM.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderer or representative(s) who choose
to attend the opening at vigilance house, Harambee Avenue, 6th Floor Conference Room on Thursday 22nd
September, 2022 at 10.00 AM.
10. The eligible bidders shall be required to view approved stock sample and obtain information on Uniform
Materials from Service Quarter Master – Kenya Police Service, Vigilance House, 4th Floor Room No. 407
Harambee Avenue, Service Quarter Master – Administration Police Service – National Police College– “A”
Campus Embakasi (APTC) and Service Quarter Master – General Service Unit (GSU) Headquarters Ruaraka
respectively during normal working hours from 8.00AM – 1.00 PM and 2.00PM – 4.00 PM.
11. The bidder shall submit two samples each measuring 2 Square Meters of every item quoted for (to Kenya
Police Service, Vigilance House, Administration Police – National Police College “A” Campus Embakasi
(APTC), General Service Unit – Ruaraka respectively).
12. The submitted samples must meet the parameters of the respective approved stock sample.
13. Tender Opening exercise will be done under strict adherence to the Ministry of Health Covid 19 protocols
14. The Government of Kenya reserves the right at any time to terminate the procurement
proceedings
14. Late tenders will be rejected.
