SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND DISTRIBUTION OF SOLAR LAMPS ACROSS THE COUNTY
2. The (DEPARTMENT OF WATER, IRRIGATION, SANITATION, ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE)
invites sealed tenders for the supply of goods i.e.
DESCRIPTION: SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND DISTRIBUTION OF SOLAR LAMPS ACROSS THE
COUNTY
3. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
4. In case this tender is subject to a Reservation, specify the Group is eligible to tender, Insert e.g. “Tendering
is open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with……………N/A…………”).
5. In case tender is subject to Multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or
more lots”. N/A
6. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information during office hours 9.00AM TO 5.00PM
Monday to Friday in writing via email suuplychain@machakos.go.ke . Tender documents may be viewed
and/or downloaded from the website: www.machakos.go.ke or supplier.treasury.go.ke or public
procurement informational portal (PPIP).
7. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.machakos.go.ke,
www.suppliers.treasury.go.ke or Public procurement information portal www.tenders.go.ke free of charge.
8. Interested and eligible bidders having challenge uploading their tenders documents in the integrated financial
management information system (IFMIS), supplier portal may obtain assistance from IFMIS helpdesk on
0800721477/0202480180 at National treasury.
9. Tendersshall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tendersshall remain valid for (119) days from
the date of opening oftenders.
10.All Tenders must be accompanied by a BID SECURITY OF KSH. 140,000/=
11. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted.
12. Completed tendersmust be SUBMITTED ONLINE VIA THE IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL
(supplier.treasury.go.ke) on or before 30TH MAY, 2024.

13. ONLY Electronic Tenders will be permitted.
5. Tenders will be opened immediately after the close date on IFMIS portal. Bidders are advised to monitor the opening
process through the same portal.
14. Late tenders will be rejected. The system will automatically lock out late submissions.
