TENDER NOTICE 
1. The Kenya Revenue Authority invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for the following

3. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained from KRA E-Procurement
portal available on the KRA website www.kra.go.ke free of charge. Prospective bidders
should register for E-Procurement to enable them access the KRA portal under “New
Supplier Registration” found under the Tender Tab.
Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 8:00am-5:00pm. Completed Bids are to be saved as PDF
documents marked “KRA/HQS/NCB-030/2022-2023: Supply, Delivery and
Installation of Batteries for Data Center UPSs for a Period of One (1) Year. and
submitted to the appropriate KRA E-procurement Web Portal found on the KRA website so as
to be received on or before 25th January 2024 at 11.00 a.m.
4. Tendering will be conducted under National Open Competitive method using a
standardized tender document. Tendering isopento allqualifiedandinterestedTenderers
5. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours i.e.0800 to 1700 hours.
6. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.kra.go.ke free of charge. Tenderers who download the tender document must
forward their particulars immediately to eprocurement@kra.go.ke, telephone +254
02 2817022 and P.O. BOX 48240 – 00100 to facilitate any further clarification or
addendum.
7. The tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed Tender documents should be submitted online through the portal.
9. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall
remain valid for 335 days commencing from the date of opening of tenders.

10. An original hard copy of the Bid Security of not less than the indicated amount or equivalent
amount in a freely convertible currency must be dropped in the Tender Security Box located
at Times Tower Building, Ground Floor any day before the tender closing date and time.
Alternatively, bidders can submit a digital tender security that MUST be verifiable directly
with the security providers through a dedicated portal or via QR code available on the
document.
11. The Bid Security must be in a sealed envelope bearing the Tender Description and addressed
to the address indicated above.
12. Tenders will be opened immediately after the closing date and time specified above or any
other deadline date and time that may be specified later.
13. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address above.
14. Late tenders will be rejected
