INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT)
TENDER FOR SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EDRMS)
TENDER NO. KarU/RFP/0017/2024-2025
1. Karatina University invites sealed tenders for supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of
Electronic Document Management System (EDRMS)
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National Tender using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all eligible, qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 8:00 A.M – 5: 00P.M at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders electronically from the
Website www.karu.ac.ke OR from the PPIP portal
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.karu.ac.ke .
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
procurement@karu.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Ksh 100,000 in the form of Bank Guarantee
from a reputable Bank or from an Insurance Company approved by the INSURANCE
REGULATORY AUTHOLITY IRA. A Tender-Securing Declaration shall be required for AGPO
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 11:00 a.m EAT on 17
th April,
2025. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
