TENDER FOR SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, CONFIGURATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ICT EQUIPMENT

TENDER NO: CA/PROC/OT/09/2022-2023
1. The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) is the regulatory agency for the ICT industry in Kenya with
responsibilities in Telecommunications, Cyber Security, E-commerce, Broadcasting and Postal/Courier
Services. CA is also responsible for managing the country’s numbering and frequency spectrum resources,
administering the Universal Service Fund (USF) as well as safeguarding the interests of consumers of ICT
services
2. The Communications Authority of Kenya invites sealed tenders for Tender for Supply, Delivery, Installation,
configuration and maintenance of ICT Equipment.
3. Tendering will be conducted under Open National Competitive method using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all eligible, qualified and interested Tenderers.
4. Tenderers will Not be allowed to tender in lots.
5. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 0900 to 1500hrs at the address given below.
6. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Kshs.1,000 payable to M-Pesa Paybill Number 522522 Account no. 1106738608 and a
receipt obtained from our Accounts office, located at the Ground Floor, CA Centre
7. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free electronically from the website
https://ca.go.ke/about-us/do-business-with-us/open-tenders/ or Public Procurement Information Portal
(PPIP) supplier portal (http://www.tenders.go.ke/website/tenders/index.Tenderers who download the tender
document must forward their particulars immediately to tenders@ca.go.ke, to facilitate any further clarification
or addendum.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 200,000.00 in form of bank guarantee issued
by a reputable bank located in Kenya or Insurance bond from the firms approved by PPRA valid for 240 days
from the date of tender opening.
9. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted in the
sequence of 1, 2, 3. ….n ( n being the last numerical page of the tender document).
10. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 1030hrs East African Time, 19th
October 2022 AT 10:30 AM. Electronic Tenders WILL NOT be permitted.
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
12. Late tenders will be rejected.
