The County Government of Nandi has received financing from the World Bank under the National Agricultural and Rural Inclusive Growth project (NARIGP] and intends to apply part of the proceeds to Supply and Install Milk Coolers in the following seven [7] dairy cooperative sites in Nandi: Chepterit (Kosirai Ward], Tilalwo (Kosirai ward], Mlango [Lelmokwo-Ngechek Ward], Koilot [Ol’lessos Ward], Sangalo (Sangalo-Kebulonik Ward], Kaiboi [Kabiyet Ward], and Kipkaren salient (Kipkaren Ward]. The County Government of Nandi now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for SUPPLY,DELIVERY,INSTALLATION,TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF MILK COOLERS. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding [NCB] procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB] as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non- Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers”, dated January 2011 (revised July 2014] and that the Tender Document is in line with 2020 PPRA Standard Tender Document. It is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

1. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain the bidding document, in English language, free of charge from the Nandi County Website www.nandicounty.go.ke . The Bidders are requested to acknowledge that they have downloaded the document, by sending a confirmation email to: narigpnandi@gmail.com
2. A Pre-Tender conference shall be conducted virtually by the employer on Tuesday, 8th November, 2022 from 10.00 am -11.00 am. The virtual link for the conference shall be shared to the email addresses provided by the Bidders in their confirmation emails.
3. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security from a reputable Commercial bank equivalent to Kshs 600,000.
4. Bids must be delivered to the address below and submitted on or before 18^th November, 2022 at 1100a.m, when the Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders or their designated representatives. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Completed tender documents (Original and two copies] are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with tender reference number KE-NANDI C0UNTY-311154-G0-RFB and addressed to: NARIGP County Project Coordinator, P.O. Box 802-30300, Kapsabet; and be deposited in the Tender Box located at the NARIGP office, Department of Agriculture and Cooperative Development, along Showground Road, Kapsabet.
