Introduction
Sanivation Ltd is a company based in Naivasha that develops waste-to-value treatment facilities in Kenya. The company partners with local governments to manage its waste. The waste is treated, mixed with other biomass/ agricultural wastes then processed into sustainable briquette fuel.
Project Details
Sanivation Ltd is looking for interested and eligible suppliers who are willing to supply sawdust or coffee husks biomass materials at the Naivasha treatment plant. Biomass materials are one of the critical raw materials used to produce briquette fuel. This request for expression of interest aims at identifying the suppliers who will then be verified and a request for quotation will be sent to the qualified suppliers based on the responses to this REOI.
Only the vendors who provide complete information will be considered for the next stage.
Biomass (Saw dust & coffee husks) Specifications
- Biomass with 18% to a max of 34% moisture content levels
- Biomass with less than 0.5% non-combustible materials like sand, soil, stones
- Biomass with less than 2% woodchuck particle size of between 1mm to 3 mm (not very fine]
- Biomass less than a year old
