Background
The Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) is working with ITDP, UN Habitat and the County Government of Mombasa (CGM) on the TUMI Covid Challenge Project. The project is meant to upgrade Biashara Street, located in Mombasa’s Old Town to a safe, organised, well-managed, and people friendly street for all. Biashara street, like many streets in Old Town, some of which date back to the 16th century, is a narrow street, bustling with vending activities. Pedestrians buy from the vendors who have put out their wares as they pass by. Movement along the street has been difficult especially during the COVID-19 period due to lack of clear space allocation for pedestrians and vendors.
Call to bid
GIZ is seeking to procure for Supply of Cross Beams and Entrance Portal to the City of Mombasa. In this regard, GIZ is calling for potential suppliers to bid for the supply of the required items.

You will receive tender documents with further information on 14.03.2022, thereafter no tender documents will be received.
Clarification requests must be sent through the e-mail (KE-Inquiry@giz.de) by 18.03.2022 to be responded to via email by 22.03.2022.
If interested, please submit your complete proposal together with the requested documents in a SEALED ENVELOPE clearly marked TENDER NO: GIZ/91160340 addressed as follows and dropped to the tender box available in Kenya.
Failure to address correctly will lead to disqualification.
