Background
The project “Promotion of Climate-Friendly Cooking: Kenya and Senegal” (GCF/EnDev), implemented by GIZ, Ministry of Energy and other implementing partners targets to build the capacity and professionalise local stove production enterprises with regards to improving stove production processes for stoves and stove components (e.g., ceramic liners) including metal fabrication and assembly processes. Part of the support shall comprise provision of machines, tools, equipment & basic infrastructure for stove production and related technical assistance.
Call to bid
GIZ is seeking to procure for off-the-shelf tools, equipment and machines for stove producers. In this regard, GIZ is calling for potential suppliers to bid for the supply of the required items. The required tools, equipment’s and machines have been categorised into 3 lots i.e. Lot 1 – Hand tools and power tools/machines. Lot 2 – General hardware items, and Lot 3 – Safety gear
Send a blank email expressing your interest with tender reference GIZ/91157244 in the subject line to: (KE_lnquiry@giz.de) between 24.11.2021 to 29.11.2021. You will receive tender documents with further information on 30.11.2021, thereafter no tender documents will be received. Clarification requests must be sent through the e-mail (KE_lnquiry@giz.de) by 03.12.2021 to be responded to via email by 07.12.2021.
If interested, please submit your complete proposal together with the requested documents in a SEALED ENVELOPE clearly marked TENDER NO: GIZ/91157244, addressed as follows and dropped to the tender box available in Kenya,
