TENDER FOR THE PROPOSED REFURBISHMENT OF AN OFFICE BLOCK, LANDSCAPING, SUPPLY OF WATER TANKS AND INSTALLATION OF A WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR KISII INFORMATION OFFICE

| TENDER NOTICE |
The Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy (Information office Kisii) Invites sealed bids for the proposed refurbishment of an office block, landscaping, supply of water tanks and installation of a water supply system for Kisii Information Office. Interested bidders must meet the following minimum conditions.
- a)Provide certificate of Incorporation.
- b)Provide valid NCA registration certificate for building works (category 7 and above)
- c)Provide valid NCA contractors annual practicing license for building works
- d)Provide valid NCA registration certificate for road works (category 7 and above)
- e)Provide valid NCA contractors annual practicing license for road works
- f)Provide VAT/PIN certificate
- g)Provide valid tax compliance certificate
- h)Provide valid CR12 certificate not more than 6 months from the date of bidding
- i)Provide proof of citizenship
- j)Provide valid business permit
- k)Duly filled form offender
- l)Duty filled confidential business questionnaire
- m)Pre-tender site visit will be mandatory on Monday 13th May, 2024 at 10.00am and thereafter site visit certificate will be issued.
- n)Must provide bid bond of 2% of the bid price which must remain valid for 30 days (after the expiry of the tender validity period)
In addition, interested bidders must show proof of the following:
- Adequate equipment holding for the specified type of work
- Key technical staff to be engaged
- Audited accounts for the last two years
- Works of similar magnitude and complexity undertaken by the firm for the last 3 years
- Provide copy of tender receipt
- Bidder must sequentially serialize all pages for each tender document submitted
- Evidence of credit line from reputable financial institution
