AMPATH is The Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare, a program under the auspices of Moi Teaching
and Referral Hospital (MTRH), Moi University and a Consortium of North American Universities led by Indiana
University whose aim is to provide sustainable efforts in access to Healthcare, Research, and Training. AMPATH
Care is made up of 3 projects USAID AMPATH Uzima covering Uasin Gishu, West Pokot, Trans Nzoia and Elgeyo
Marakwet Counties; USAID DUMISHA Afya covering Bungoma and Busia Counties whereas USAID 4TheChild
operates in Kisumu, Siaya, Kakamega, Bungoma and Busia counties all funded by USAID.
