TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF ICT EQUIPMENT, DATA CENTER, AIR CONDITIONING, FIRE
SUPPRESSION SYSTEM, CCTV, PASSIVE AND ACTIVE COMPONENTS
AMPATH is The Academic Model Providing Access to Health Care, a program under
the auspices of Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH), Moi University and a
Consortium of North American Universities led by Indiana University, whose aim is
to provide sustainable efforts in access to Health Care, Research, and Training.
AMPATH Care is made up of 3 projects; USAID AMPATH Uzima, covering Uasin
Gishu, West Pokot, Trans Nzoia and Elgeyo Marakwet Counties; USAID DUMISHA
Afya, covering Bungoma and Busia Counties; and USAID 4TheChild operates in
Kisumu, Siaya, Kakamega, Bungoma and Busia counties, all funded by USAID.
AMPATH- Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) invites sealed tenders
from the eligible service providers for the For the Provision of Support and Maintenance of
Ict Equipment, Data Center, Air Conditioning, Fire Suppression System, Cctv, Passive And Active
Components for a maximum period of three years renewable annually, subject to
satisfactory performance and at the sole discretion of AMPATH Management.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open national tender using a standardized tender
document. The tender is open to all qualified and interested tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the address given
below.

3. Tender documents shall be obtained electronically from www.mtrh.go.ke. and/or
government tender dedicated portal www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained
electronically are free of charge.
4. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars

immediately to procurement-info@usaidampathuzima.or.ke and copied to
acherotich@usaidampathuzima.or.ke to facilitate effective communication/clarification
or addendum.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kes 100,000.00.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 2
nd August 2024
AT 10.30 A.M. Hard copies of the tender document shall be deposited in the Tender
Box “A”, located at Ground Floor, Chandaria Cancer Centre. Bulky tenders shall
be received at Supply Chain Department AMPATH Centre Rm B 17.
8. Electronic tenders will not be permitted.

11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above
or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the

12. Late tenders will be rejected.
