INVITATION TO TENDER. 
TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY & DELIVERY OF EMERGENCY OBSTETRIC AND NEWBORN CARE SIMULATION MODELS (FRAMEWORK CONTRACT) 

TENDER NO. MTRH/AMP/T/060/2023-2024 
1. USAID AMPATH UZIMA is USAID FUNDED program managed by Moi Teaching and
Referral Hospital.
2. AMPATH invites sealed tenders for the Supply and Delivery of Emergency Obstetric
and Newborn Care simulation models on a three year framework contract 18to be
delivered on As and When Required Basis (AWR). The contract will be renewable
annually subject to satisfactorily performance and at the sole discretion of AMPATH
Management.
3. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested
tenderers. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more items.
4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the address given
below.
5. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested
tenderers upon payment of a non- refundable fees of Kes. 1000.00 in cash or Banker’s
Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained
electronically from www.mtrh.go.ke and / or government tender dedicated portal
www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
6. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars
immediately to tenders@usaidampathuzima.or.ke to facilitate effective communication/
clarification or addendum.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kes 120,000.00.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 7th February,
2024 at 10:30 a.m. Electronic tenders will not be permitted. Hand copies of the tender
document shall be deposited in the Tender Box “A”, located at Ground Floor, Chandaria
Cancer Centre. Bulky tenders shall be received at Supply Chain Department AMPATH
Centre Rm B 17.

12. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or
any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the
