Task Overview
Innovation to Inclusion [i2i] is a three-year programme funded by DFID. The programme is implemented in Kenya by a consortium of partners and led by Leonard Cheshire. Consortium members include: Plan International, CBM, Association for the physically disabled of Kenya, International Labor Organization [ILO], Global Disability Innovation Hub [GDIH], and Action Network for the Disabled Kenya [ANDY).
Plan International is implementing I2i pilot project in Nairobi informal settlements, with an aim to increase meaningful inclusion of women with disability into private sector’s waged employment. Plan International seeks a consultant to conduct a desk review and adapt existing Plan International modules and external recommended guidelines and resources to develop three curricula: 1) a curriculum for bi-monthly group mentoring sessions for women with disabilities, 2) a curriculum for monthly dialogue sessions between women with disabilities and their family members/ caregivers, and 3) training curriculum guide for women with disability facilitator’s.
