Eligible interested candidates who are registered in relevant categories and trade, (proof of registration required) may obtain a complete set of tender documents and detailed specifications from the Ministry’s website www.sportsheritage.go.ke and/ or and Treasury Supplier portal www.supplier.treasury.go.ke free of any charges or from the Office of the Head, Supply Chain Management Services Unit, Located at Uchumi House, 11th Floor, Room 22, during normal working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000 per set of tender document in cash or bankers cheque payable to the Principal Secretary, State Department for Sports at the Cash Office situated at the 2nd Floor, Kencom House, Wing A.
Tenders in plain sealed envelopes and clearly marked with the name of the project and tender number (on the right-hand side corner) and bearing no indication of the tenderer name must be addressed to the Principal secretary, State Department for Sports and be deposited into the tender box at the 11th Floor, Uchumi House so as to reach on or before Wednesday 5th January 2022 at 10.00am (East African Time). Bids must be submitted in Two Copies i.e. Original and Copy.
Tender opening will be public and shall take place at the conference Room situated at the 2nd Floor, Kencom House, Wing B, immediately after the above stated date and time in the presence of tenderers or representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will be returned unopened.
Prices quoted must be inclusive of VAT and all Government taxes and must remain valid for a minimum period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the closing date.
Tenderers must submit a Bid Bond in the Amounts (as indicated above) in the form of a bank guarantee from a reputable bank or PPRA approved Insurance Company, valid for a minimum of One Hundred and Fifty (150) Days from the date of tender opening.
The Government reserves the right to reject any tender giving reasons for the rejection and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
