TENDER NOTICE

TENDER NO: HBY/CSDCU/R/7/2020-2021

THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF DEPUTY COUNTY COMMISSIONER’S OFFICES AT RANGWE SUB COUNTY- HOMA BAY COUNTY.

The Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, State Department for Interior and Citizen Services, Rangwe Sub County, invites sealed tenders for the construction of The Proposed Deputy County Commissioner’s Office at Rangwe Sub County, Homa Bay County.

Interested bidders can obtain tender documents with detailed specifications and tendering conditions free of charge from website www.mygov.go.ke. and must fulfill following:

  • Must attach Valid NCA 5 and above license for Building Works, Electrical, Mechanical
  • Must attach valid NCA registration certificates for each of the three classes of registration above.
  • Must attach A copy of valid certificate of Registration/Incorporation,
  • Current CR12
  • Valid business/trade permit
  • A copy of current/valid tax compliance certificate issued by KRA including VAT/PIN Certificate.
  • Must fill the price schedule/BOQS in the format provided.
  • Must fill the form of tender in the format provided(Prices quoted must be vat inclusive and remain valid for 120days)
  • Must submit duly filled and signed confidential business questionnaire in the format provided
  • Must provide qualification and experience of at least Five (5) key members of staff who will manage the assign­ment. Must include qualification and experience in: 1. Building and Civil Works, 2. Electrical Installation Works, 3. Mechanical Installation Works.
  • Must submit Audited Accounts for the last three (3) financial years duly signed and stamped by a Certified Public Accountant
  • The Form of power of attorney shall be duly filled, signed and stamped.
  • Must give evidence of performing similar works, i.e.1. Building and Civil Works, 2. Electrical:- Lighting, Light­ening Protection, CCTV, Structured Cabling, 3. Mechanical:- Plumbing, Fire Protection, Pressed Steel Wa­ter Tanks, Air Conditioning in the last three years from reputable clients (copies of contract and comple­tion certificate with their values).
  • Interested bidders will be required to provide a Tender Security / Bid Bond of Kenya Shillings Six Hundred Thou­sand (Kshs 600,000/=) addressed to Deputy County Commissioner, Rangwe Sub-County from institutions ap­proved by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA)
  • Must fill, sign and stamp the Self Declaration Forms (R62) provided in the standard forms 1. Non-debarment, 2. Compliance with labour laws, 3. Non- engagement in corruption
  • Eligible candidates may obtain further information and inspect tender documents at Supply Chain Department, County Commissioner’s Office, Homa Bay County, during normal working hours.
  • The bidder shall provide 1 ORIGINAL copy of the document and Two (2No) other COPIES and be marked as copy and placed in one envelope.
  • Tender reference and closing date must be quoted on the envelope.
  • Must ensure that the submitted bid documents are duly serialized/ paginated on each page, well bound and intact.
  • A completed set of tender documents sealed envelopes clearly marked with “Tender No. and Tender descriptions” as more particularly described in the tender documents can be deposited by interested candidates in tender box during official working hours at Homa Bay County Procurement office upon payment of non-refund­able fees of Kshs 3,000 in cash or Bankers Cheque payable to Deputy County Commissioner, Rangwe Sub County, and addressed to:

so as to reach on or before 15th April,2021 at 10.00am.

  • Thereafter, tenders will be opened immediately in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at Homa Bay County Commissioner Headquarters office.
