INVITATION TO TENDER
THE PROPOSED REHABILITATION OF NCPB LUNGA LUNGA DEPOT DRIVEWAYS, DRAINAGE AND ASSOCIATED CIVIL WORKS

The NATIONAL CEREALS AND PRODUCE BOARD invites sealed tenders for the construction of
1. Proposed rehabilitation of NCPB LUNGA LUNGA depot driveways, drainage and associated civil works.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to ALL qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours FROM 9.00AM to 4.30PM at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of Kenya shillings One Thousand only (Kshs 1,000.00) via MPESA at the cash office of National Cereals and Produce Board in Head Office. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website www.ncpb.co.ke or www.tenders.go.ke Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website (www.ncpb.co.ke and www.tenders.go.ke). Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to NATIONAL CEREALS AND PRODUCE BOARD to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 210 days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond of Kshs. Seven hundred thousand (700,000)
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically and sequentially serialize all pages in a numerical format 1,2,3,4,5……. Including the cover page of the tender documents submitted.
9. There shall be a mandatory site visit on the 29th May, 2022
10. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 6th May, 2022 at 12.00 noon Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
11. Tenders will be closed and opened on 6th May, 2022 at 12.00 noon. Tenders will be opened publicly in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend.
12. Late tenders will be rejected.

2. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the NCPB GILFILIAN HALL.
3. Bidders are advised to send details of ONE representative in advance to enable NCPB organize for required protocols in compliance with MOH guidelines on Covid19.
