INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT)
TENDER NO: NHIF/014/2023-2024
UPGRADE OF THE IBM INFORMIX FROM 12.10 TO 14.10
1. The National Health Insurance Fund invites sealed tenders for the construction of
Upgrade of the IBM Informix from 12.10 to 14.10
2. Tendering will be conducted under restricted competitive method using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is Restricted to IBM Authorized resellers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers shall obtain further information and inspect the
Tender Documents during office hours 0800 to 1700 hours Monday to Friday
except Public Holidays) at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents shall be obtained by interested tenders
electronically from the Website(s) www.nhif.or.ke or on the Public Procurement
Information Portal https://tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically
will be free of charge. Tenderers downloading documents from a designated
Website shall advise the NHIF that they have downloaded the tender documents,
giving full contact addresses of the tenderer (email, telephone number and postal
address).
5. Tender documents shall be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.nhif.or.ke / https://tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender
document must forward their particulars immediately to (insert email address) to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum. The procedures to be followed
will be as follows: – tenders@nhif.or.ke or (020 – 2731249/50 and National Health
Insurance Fund, P. O. Box 30443 – 00100 Nairobi.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by tender Security of Kenya shillings Five
Hundred Thousand Only (Ksh.500,000.00) from a reputable bank or Insurance firms
approved by IRA.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 3rd
November 2023. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified
above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose
to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
