Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) is a state corporation whose mandate is to regulate, co-ordinate and oversee maritime affairs
guided by the Kenya Maritime Authority Act No. 5 of 2006 and the Merchant Shipping Act, 2009. KMA invites sealed National Open

Interested Eligible Tenderers who are registered in the above relevant categories, (proof of registration required) may download
the Tender Document from the Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) website www.kma.go.ke under “Tenders” portal and/or Public
Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) https://www.tenders.go.ke respectively. Those who download the document must immediately
forward their particulars (i.e., Name & Contacts of the Tenderer/Tenderer’s Representative) to email; procurement@
kma.go.ke and/or info@kma.go.ke for purposes of registration and any further tender clarifications and addenda.
Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the mandatory requirements in the evaluation criteria indicated in the tender
documents, supported by relevant documents submitted will be considered for further evaluation.
A tenderer who has been served with a default notice on on-going projects (s) or a tenderer who has been terminated in any
Government Contract/s due to non-performance in the past shall be treated as non-responsive and therefore subject to automatic
disqualification.
Original and one copy of the Tender Document should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked tender reference
number on the right hand side corner and bearing no indication of the tenderer should be addressed to: –

and placed in the Tender Box located at Ground Floor of Kenya Maritime Authority’s Headquarter Offices; White House
Building, Moi Avenue, Mombasa or sent by post so as to reach the above address on or before Wednesday, 12th October, 2022
at 10.00am.
There will be a Site Visit and a Pre-bid conference meeting for all prospective bidders on 27th September, 2022 from 10.00am at
KMA Towers, Mombasa, located along Mbaraki Road, opposite Mbaraki Cemetery, Mombasa.
Submitted bids will be opened publicly in the KMA Boardroom, White House Building Moi Avenue, Mombasa soon after the
above stated closing date and time in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will
be returned unopened.
Prices quoted must be net inclusive of VAT and all Government Taxes and must remain valid for One Hundred Twenty Six (126) days
from the tender opening date.
The Bid Security, which must be from a reputable bank or from PPRA accredited insurance company, shall be valid for One
Hundred Fifty-Four (154) days from the tender opening date.
Any canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification. KMA reserves the right to reject any tender giving reasons for the rejection
and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
